“The word samurai means “to serve,” A compassionate samurai is someone with strong values who can absolutely make anything happen and whose whole life is about service. “How-to’s” lead to incremental increases-small, progressive steps toward change. Much greater, lasting shifts – exponential alterations – occur when you actually change your character. The compassionate samurai possesses lasting character and he lives by ten codes: commitment, personal responsibility, contribution, focus, honesty, honor, trust, abundance, boldness and knowledge.” – Brian Klemmer
If you look at some of our great leaders in the world they are people who gave their life in service to others. Too many times people are so caught up in their own life they can’t even see places where they can serve. To serve people is as simple as sharing a smile with someone, inviting someone over to dinner, letting someone go ahead of you in line, etc. One of my role models in life St.Therese of Lisieux says, “it is the little things that make the greatest impact.” We can all serve others in varied ways. I chose to serve others, because in serving, the reward is tenfold. Will you join in this call?
Have a SUPER day!!!!
